Thread: hate the bitching and the 1.5x more powerful

I don't see why they make a certain profession in the game to be 1.5x more powerful than any other profession when they get to a certain skill aspec. I mean isn't this a MMORPG, not any other MMORPG games that i know of that have a elite profession better than any other.
I propose that they make the same type of profession for everyone else, it just doens't seem right. Give the other classes their own "Village" or whatever and make it so that they can be elite in whater,
Make the armorsmiths able to go into three different elitetrees , so that say their is elite for armorsmith that breaks into assualt/battle/reconasence. Will give a more wide variety of people to seek and need more of professions becuase everybody will need differnt types of armor. And they can only get the best of one or maybe two of em from one person and have to find another for the last type or whatever

I aggree but this point has been brought up time and time again and will never go anywhere also why the as boards

just curious, i woudl have though you would have like being able to go into an elite class such as jedi and being able to specialize into making superior battle armor, or assualt or whatever. But apperently you are comfortable just making what any person can grind into in a week or so if they work at it, and with some money to get +12 maybe even better armor then you without all the work some of you have put into it

Sure, i'd like to make eliet assult armor, just like all the other eliet assault armor makers that would be out there. Please make a coherant post. It hurt to read that last one.

problem with doing a tree split into types of armor is that this game does not work linearly, ie, you can learn parallel professions. its part of the design. unless you ruled out one line over the other ( which is not the case now, now you are only limited by skill points), i would imagine that most armorsmiths would go into each tree, thus sucking up even more skill points than a ( in my opinion) good armorsmith template is
Master Armorsmith, master artisan, 300x merchant ( x for the number of vendors you need) and 0300 tailor.
that template takes 181 skill points which does not leave a lot of room for fighting skills. which you need to be able to survey on hard planets, i would imagine
being a pure or mostly pure crafter is harder now post cu than ever. i dont need any more points going away than i do now
