Meaning: no one can make armor upgrade kits now because the schematic has been removed from game. Smugglers no longer need any tools to perform first tier slices. Higher level slices require tools that are now dropped as loot. Check the FAQ on the smuggler forum if you want details on how slicing works now.

And we are mighty peeved about it too. No one asked to remove you, the armorsmith, from that part of player to player dependancy. I would encourage the Armorsmiths and Weaponsmiths to make some noise about it, and perhaps we can save the crafting professions, and keep them in the game.
