i would like to know what layers go good with what armor so i dont put acidlayers on somthing that ishould be putting somthing els on recon or battle and so on.

First, read the new armorsmith guides in the armorsmith links sticky at the top of the forum.
Second, realize you don't HAVE to use layers in any armor. In fact, the majority of armor that is sold is unlayered. Layers add a lot of expense and not that much more protection.
Third, right now the only layers worth messing with are energy and primus layers, and to a lesser extent, kinetic.

My primus layers on a complete product added around 400-500 to the overall resistance. with a slice the armour turned out at 7860 energy on recon (7460 unsliced).
