They will not work for Jedi. PSGs protect against ranged energy attacks. Jedi aren't ranged.

but a jedi getting shot by a ranged energy attack IS energy and the psgs have ENERGY protection.are u saying they will not protect?

Can't pick and choose words here. It protects against RANGED ENERGY only.
Melee energy....no block.

this is confusing me now lol. so lets say a jedi is wearing a psg and gets shot by a rifleman, is the PSG absorbing damage to make the jedi take LESS damage?

Oh, in that case, yes. I thought you meant if you're attacked by a jedi, which is melee energy, will it protect.

Yep, My bad also. I misread your post when I posted. The PSG on a jedi will lessen the blow from your rifle.
