This might have been asked, suggested already before but...

Ofcourse, their name would not be PSG's then... But here is a proposal to think about it. I'll callit ASG (Armor Shield Generator, funny tho )

1. This special type PSG (ASG) will have stats of Armor Core that is prefered (Rates but condtion x 9 = Read #6 for details)

2. They will require 9x + additionalresources of a casual armor piece and 9 identical armor cores so it will be costy (or costier to build them and sell them compared to a full set of other armors)

3. It will only require "belt" slotlike PSG'sand will override / ignore whatever armor worn under it. (eg, composite helmet & ASG, ASG stats overrides even it is lower).

4. They will not stack with current PSG's for currently using same slot.

5. Having same proffession limitations of other armors depending on their cores except "every race can equip"

6. Will decay exactly like other armors however, since it is only one piece, it will decay not depending on which part of body got hit, with every hit.

I believe that kind of armors can bring a lot of immersion to galaxy without removing Armorsmith effectiveness and income cycles. People who wish to immerse themselves to galaxy will have their opportunity, closer to Innate armors. Who would not like to fight like an Imperial officer uniform or a Rebel Sand Trooperwith an invisible armor skin

Cool idea.. I know that a lot of times I want to wear some cool looking clothing but can't in battle.
