I think that somewhere in the twisted minds of the devs they decided that it is unfair to trandos (read:losing a possiblity for 8 extra sockets) well thats what I keep telling myself to stop me from screaming

Yeah it is prolly done since us wooks can't wear boots either...well Jedi wooks can but another story...
And I mean why can't why just have craftable gloves and boots just for our scaley brethren. I mean wookiees, Ithorians and even Twi'liks get custom clothes. I mean add a few more schematics. What could they break?

whats the big deal about all this "love" for the trandos and wooks... i created a trando well knowing i could not wear boots or gloves and i loved the challenge, now they once more take us strolling down kindergarten way and simplifying this game back to the Nintendo days!

correction if I'm wrong please? Seems to me, besides ascethics and having a matching set it would be better to have tailor made four socketed boots and gloves since armored boots and gloves don't give protection or sockets? Or do the health modifiers make that much of a difference in armored as opposed to skill boosts in clothing sockets? Are there benefits to armored boots/gloves I'm overlooking?

I've been discussing this very thing with with guildmates over the last 2 days. I think it's a great idea, the hide boots look nice, as do a few of the others.
The problem will be convincing the general public of whats good for them. I'm almost certain I'll have to just include tailored boots and gloves in the bag for awhile until people get the idea that feet/hands arent valid hit zones anymore. I have a guild tailor who's stuck for stuff to do since it's been 3 weeks since they broke BE tissues, with no fix in sight. I want her to stay a tailor, becuase it's good for traffic in the shop, but shes not making any cash. So a couple of large orders from me might do the trick until they fix tailoring.

What boots and gloves would you use? Obviously you would need to color them according to the armor, but I´m a bit at a loss as which types to go for..
