You really can only make segments. These give 35-45 xp. You have to wait until tech 1, to make standard recon cores. Then the other cores follow on the next few boxes up.
Good grief. I think its around 16k xp to get a lvl 1 box. Thats 457 segments.
At around 20 second each to make practicewise, thats about 2 and half hours.
I understand that it should take longer to grind armorsmith than a day or so. I agree. But, I dont have a macro running, I guess I should now. But, thats a bit steep.
Not that it matters much anymore. With the double xp, pretty much half the server have unlocked their jedi. I did it myself, hence the regrinding. So, with so many jedi, they dont need armor. So, sigh.

Just hang in there until ubese shirts at 3xxx. They only give 94 xp, but they are less resource intensive. They used to have the armor upgrade kits to grind with, but with the last patch they were taken out. It's a known issue and Caile is pushing for something to be done about it...*cough* armor colorization kits cough*

This is a little hard, but if you have the money, the resources, and the time, AS is easy to grind. The first thing you need to do is get at least1wearables factory. After that you need to make a schematic for reconnaisance segments, and put the schematic with the correct resources into the factory. while waiting for the segments to get ready, go out and find a tailor with crates of reinforced fiber panels, fiberplast panels, and synthetic cloths. Get plenty of those. After a few days you should have plenty of all 4. Use the segments to craft a reconnassiance armor core schematic. Put that into the factory and wait for the cores to come out. When they do, use them to craft mabari chest plates until you run out of a resource, get more, and do it again. i believe i was getting around 500 xp for each chest plate. I was able to grind to about 1/0/0/0 in about 10 minutes. It takes quite a few days to get the resources ready, but when you do the grinding goes as fast as the architect grind.
