Segments? I spent an hour grinding out 3 all amazing layers
That gets me 80kin/80en/80el/80blast/72base gloves

I made a batch of Quad 80 Base 70 to test the market with. I only had to use 818avg Wooly Hide to do it, so I could have bumped the base up a point or two if I had wanted to spend more expensive hide on it.

quad 80 in my opinion isn't good as it leaves stun as a vulnerabilty, i can make it, 80ener/80kin/80blast/80elect but i prefer to drop the energy and make 4%stun which also allows you to drop the hams a bit more.

Yes, it takes a lot of patience and skill to make quad 80% armor. But, why would you want to lock your most important stats at 80% and not be able to slice it to 90% resist? And your HAM would be much higher than2 electric layer and 1 stun layer amor.At best quad 80% would be decent grinding amor. For use in hunting high end MOB's or doing DWB bunker this would not be such a great armor.

Then, for high end MOBs or DWB what's the best recipe?

well persoanly i can afford a full suit of 90% armor so i stick with ussualy unsliced 80 ken/80 electirc armor but for places like the vett where they do alot of energy you need that extra bit. its more of a pve armor

Yup. Also, another thing to consideris the less wealthy player, who can't afford to continually purchase armor and slice until they get a full suit of 90%. So, a guaranteed 80% is something they're willing to accept.

Adding to this tread I have my Own Question. WHat is Triple 80, and in this case quad 80 armor? Thanks.

It is the amount of special protections at 80. Single is 80% Electric, and double is say 80% Kinetic/Electric. Common triple is Kinetic/Electric/Energy and common quad is Kinetic/Electric/Energy/Blast.

That is one of my best selling armors, is the quad, but then again I dont gouge my customers.I sell the sets for 180k. I been AS since launch and I am well established, no need to gouge anymore.
