Hey there, im amazed at what is going on here, but i cant say that i am surprised, i knew that someone was going to blow up.
This CU is horrible, every poll taken shows that the greater population do not like it. but the devs are smokin some serious stuff, and are feeding us that verbal diaria that they call "positive feedback". But we have to make best of what we get.
The ranger community went through a bit of an up-rising the other week, albeit, nothing like this. But with clear, constructive critism, and positive dialougue with the devs, rangers got what we were asking for. Ranger now get the CL as we progress! so the worries of having less HAM, and sub-sequently less hunting effectiveness, can now be laid to rest.
So you armoursmiths, should take a page from the rangers. Calmly discuss your worries, and give constructive critism, if the devs still do not want to listen, then they will have to learn the hard way then there SWG's quarterly reports come in, and theres a Negative loss!!!

there are tons of people all pissed off who aren't even AS's, me, for instance.

according to the stratic's chat, the dev's only pay attention to the exit polls... which have apparently been shifting to the positive side.
everyone knows that internet polls aren't accurate, msn had a poll during the last election, and people voted that kerry would win by a 60 percent margin..

sorry shilo2 im going to have to disagree with you on this one this issue is way beyond the AS community. this is about the game as a whole. We asked for a fun and balanced game and were getting just the opposite.

Agreed.
Flaming and complaining= deleted without reading.
Poke, poke, and poke some more (politely)= possibility of addressing.
Rangers were addressed (reasons unknown). Perhaps similar tactics will work for AS as well. Perhaps not. But flaming posts that will get deleted without reading anyways does what? Take time away from fixing CU to delete posts. Not saying we should not be concerned. Simply saying we shouldn't start turning over cars, lighting billboards on fire, smashing windows, ect.....yet.
Consider my post on the 8th page of the Correspondent Position Thread (Middle of page I think).

I am sorry sir but time for diplomacy is over, like in the American Revolution we will not send any more representatives like Benjamin Franklin, no more letters.
Now is the time to show them what we really wanted.
We are at the point where Benjamin Franklin went from British Loyalist to American Revolutionist.

I personally have watched Armorsmiths as they have tried desperatly to post as much nice things as possible, and I know they tried everything, but now is time for change.

This does little in the end.....
The community is not reassured. It begins to shut itself down. Closing itself off from change and begins the path to decay and eventual death of the system and the community.
