the formatting got goofed up, but here is my letter. Don't give up.
Dear Lucas Arts:
I am writing in regards to SOE's soon to be published CU (Combat Upgrade) to SWG (Star Wars Galaxies). I have purchased many Lucas Arts titles in the past including, but not limited to X-Wing Alliance, Rogue Squadron, JKII, and Galactic Battlegrounds. While these titles exceeded expectations for content and quality, am very disturbed and saddened by SOE's performance to date and especially with the upcoming CU. I have played SWG since launch but am now considering leaving the game.

I request the following actions on Lucas Art's part:
1. A response from your customer service indicating why you have allowed a developer to produce a poor product, and whether or not the SWG product indicates a broader relaxation in the usually high standards that Lucas Arts' titles deliver.
2. Any investigation or correspondence with SOE that you feel relevant.

The following SOE missteps during the CU are not all-inclusive, but I hope they illustrate my dissatisfaction:
1. SOE has radically dumbed down the Armorsmith crafting process in way that damages the integrity of the game.
2. SOE has drastically and needlessly changed the resource requirements for existing armor types.
3. SOE has withheld information on the scope of the over balance in a attempt to purposely deceive the player base
4. SOE is rushing the CU to publish
5. SOE is nerfing several professions to the point that some players that their identities are effectively deleted. The nerf has affected these players on-line, role-playing efforts over the last two years, and has destroyed their professional reputations and rendered useless the materials other objects collected over time.
6. SOE is deleting posts and information that expose the truth about the details behind the CU.
7. SOE is inflating CU customer satisfaction numbers in an attempt to deceive the outside world.

Also understand that SOE has mismanaged this game since launch. The launch product was full of bugs and much of the input provided by the beta test team was left ignored and unincorporated. Additionally, the launch product lacked the Star Wars feel and overall experience. The devs at SOE slowly introduced player cities, creature mounts, and vehicles- objects that were in beta but not in the launch product. At some point, the devs gave up hope in their launch product, and committed to the CU. The "upgrade" however is even worse that the original game.
I am a loyal Star Wars fan, and fan of Lucas Arts in general. I desire an on-line experience that lives up to the expectations that "Star Wars" embodies and look for your help in achieving that goal.
Sincerely,
(AKA Atonu Tragona, Sunrunner)

I've played SWG for over two years. Overall, I've had fun, but the Devs here have made mistake after mistake and are terribly mismanaging the game, I feel. Recently, they've decided to throw many fundamental changes to crafting in their combat revamp. I have no idea why they are doing that. My biggest problem with it, is that they are 'dumbing it down' and making it much more difficult to get resources. WHich is makes it hard to be a crafter. It's if they are trying to kill crafting altogether.
I for one enjoy crafting, and I am very distressed.
I am also sick to death of the lies, the broken promises, the spin, the abuse, and the general disdain moderators have towards those who play and love SWG.
I fell that the current DEV team is DESTROYING the game, and the CU will flop.
I've cancelled my ROTW preorders, and am very close to canceling both of my accounts.
I move for a vote of NO CONFIDENCE in SOE, and the current DEVS.
Help us LUCASARTS, you are our only hope!
