If I have made the best EnergyLayors and Adv Segmentspre CU, will they be the best after the CU hits and they are converted?
Will I receive a Woolmander, gdk and gurk hide back from each piece of crafted RIS I have made if I break it down into the interweaven schmatic?

No body knows. Most we've heard on RIS is that it will be 'converted to the new armor, or broken down into sub components'. What those sub comonents are has never been mentioned. Nor has what will happen to everyones armor attachments, Antidecay Kits, etc.

more then likely they will turn into generic versions of their counterparts in the CU

I don't remember where I read it, but they did say that if we had something that was good before, it will still be good in the new system. My question is that what if I considered my sliced to Low Ham comp 'GOOD'? With no more HAM will I get a boost to protections? I guarantee I won't.

Well this is one of the major concerns we've had expressed. not jsut from AS with tons of stock. But especially from our customers who spent god knows how much on armor attachments. and armor in general. I know for example there are some die hard PVPers out there that find armor sold by the crate that has good stats. They find a slicer to slice the lot of it for them. Keep the best slices and sell off the rest or just junk it etc. Nothing has been said at all about how it's even currently perhaps theorized armor conversion will work.
It's a question that keeps comming up every day from all sorts of people. And I've yet to hear of a dev or what not comming out and saying. Well.. we are currently thinking about doing it like this....
But then they dont seem terribly intersted in player feedback on such things or we wouldnt be at the point we are at now. So.. *shrug* I cant but feel horribly pessimistic about this whole thing.
