anyone wanna go onto TC with me today, bout noonish PST to do a real test into the effectiveness of armor in the CU? And then compare it to the benifits of grouping?

I'll try to be in there Okram.....my TC5 char name is Maximus. I dropped a house near the armorsmithguild hallthat you have set up...still have yet to get into the MAS guild. Maybe ill see ya in there today

there is no more weapon certs , the ability to wield a specific weapon is based on the level of the gun when you examine it , and the level your character is .

wow, I guess it really is going the EQ way.... I just thought people were angry.

Yea..its a whole new world. I spent a good week playing every night on TC5. Got to where I could wear armor and found out quickly that armor is nothing more thanlow poweredlong lastingSythsteak. Logged off after that and havn't returned since.

being that synthsteak will only reduce damage by about 10%, your quote isnt exactly accurate.

coming from someone who is almost a master commando/bh on tc-ep3... i COULD NOT LIVE WITHOUT MY ARMOR. with low level stuff you may get by without it, but NOT when you start to take on level 20 and above.

we all got spoiled with 90% base on Live... but you know what? my 60% kinetic assault armor is THE difference between life or death on tc-ep3.

the game you knew is changing.

adapt or leave.
