I'm never able to find anything on these forums so I'll just ask. Have the devs commented at all on the following issues?

1) - Shifting stats on Tantel, PSGs, and others

2) - Special Protections not being special protections

3) - Rancor Padded Armor segments not working in padded armor

4) - Double decay on armor (from taking damage and from dying)

5) - Critical Failures being MUCH worse for Armorsmiths than other crafting professions

I know there are more but I can't think of them...

Some of these issues have been around since beta. Isn't it about time they got fixed?

1. Has been partially acknowledge...a fix is being looked into (not that it will be implemented any time soon)

2. Don't know what you mean. Sorry

3. Never Addressed that I know of.

4. PvP death has no decay now, but you still get decay from creature/npc death and from all damage.

5. Not addressed.

"Isn't it about time they got fixed?" Yes.

Thanks for your response.

What I mean about the special protection is that from what I understood 'special protection' was supposed to also work against damage that was AP.

5.) From the patch 7 preview:

Crafting System Enhancements: One of the top concerns for crafters of all types was the issue of "critical fails". Critical fails are a risk that all crafters take when attempting to create an item. This basic dice roll function is the gamble crafters take as part of the risk of crafting, but as a resounding player concern, the developers looked at the system to see how the relationship of crafter and crafter-risk could be made to have a stronger relationship to the fictional act of crafting. Toward creating a stronger crafting experience, a new modified die roll model has been implemented to enhance the experience so that now, a crafter's raw ability will have an effect on how often critical fails occur. Crafting still works on the same risk/reward principle of a 5% critical fail chance, but is now modified with the player's assembly or experimentation skill. As crafters progress from Novice to Master they will have a reduced chance of a critical failure.

1) & 2 ) im not sure if this has been adressed yet.

3) I just bugged this again tonight, I have over 200 over these in stock and the only schematic it will let me use them in is normal *Artisan Bone Armor*

4) havent heard

5) Theiris acrit fail change coming in the next update , patch 7 . The crit failes will still ahve the base 5%, but willbe modified be how many assembly / experimentation skill points you have.

Novice crafter =same amount of current crit failes

master crafter = Less crit Failes

Master Crafterwith maxxed Skillassembly / experimentation tapes = ALOT less crit failes.

at least that is my understanding of how it will work.

Thanks for the responses folks

I thinkbeing a Master Armorsmith should mean something besides a couple experimentation points and getting composite armor. It should also mean what the title says. A Master should have zero change for critical failure and armor repair should be automatic.
