Thread: Need Info about Tantel Armour

Hello to all Armoursmiths!
I seek some Infos on Tantel. I thought i could use it as a good suit of Armour without the vulnerabilities of
other kinds of armour, but i also hear that advanced Bonearmour is at leat as good as Tantel.
I DONT want to be fully clad in a Suit of Armour. As Master Tailor i TRY to look good 
So i have some Questions:
* How about Vulnerability of Tantel and Advanced Bone
* What Layers would be good (i do hunt in the outdoor for Hide, PvP only sometimes becuase i am in the Citymilitia)

Adv. Bone share the same vulnerabilities as Bone, meaning everything except restraint, electricity and energy in special protection. The only way to change this is with enhancers or special segments like voritor segments. Voritor will push kinetic out of vulnerability hence makeing the armor slightly usable. Especially with the low encumbrance. You can't layer bone.
There seems to be a new boneschematic in the new Genosian cave, but I have yet to see/confirm this, neither do I know what it does.
Tantel can be layered with 1 layer of your choice, but if you layer anything it will not stack on top of the base resists, but rather only take the resists from the layer. So a 60% base helm with a 14% kinetic layer will end up at 14% kinetic, not 74% as it most probably should. Tantel has shifting vulnerabilities, so they are kinda hard to list. They shift each time you cross a server boundary (take a shuttle for instance). There's also no full suit of Tantel.

thank you for that very good advice.
i dont want a full suit of armor so i would like the tantel. But is the shifting of the vulnerabilities of the suit not a bug wich would be corrected?
Has anybody infos about the Rebellion Marine Armour? i have bought some pieces (Helmet, chestplate and boots from my factionpoints allready). Is this armour a goodie or a -better-dont-do-it?
