They work. Is this true or was one of my clients pulling my leg? Any input on this would be appriciated.

It was reported that the vulinerabilities still shift, but they do provide protection... again.

Sometimes. My shield has been working somewhat recently, but I needed to unequip it and reequip it each time right before battle before there was a chance of it worked at all. The protections still shift, so if you are getting hit with something it's currently vulnerable to then you are still SOL. They work minimally, which is an improvement over the long stretch where they were useless, but they are far from fixed.

I had a Imp. Prototype shield with 61% base resistances (it had a 31% effectiveness slice on it) last night on me when I visited the lagfest called "the Genosian Caves." It was currently set to be vulnerable to everything except "Stun" and seemed to do a marvelous job keeping those mutant things in their place...right up until they used one of their mega-bleeds on me

Question- and I'm not sure of the answer to this one- Is "restraint" damage the same as "stun" damage?

I like to carry multiple psgs, so when the stats shift, I can wear the best one.

They do work, yuo just have to remember to re-equip after every shuttle ride.
