Sorry to burst your bubble, but the hide isn't that great.
OQ & SR over 1500+ is great
OQ & SR over 1700+ is excellent
OQ & SR over 1900+ is GODLY
MAL is secondary and is almost irrelevent because people run around buffed all the time now. HAM is not really an issue. That's not to say there isn't "HAM" concious people out there... When composite first came out, there were very few MD's and thus HAM was relevant and everyone complained and complained about how high the HAM encumbrances were for composite. Now, MD's are buffing everywhere, and everyone knows about getting it sliced by a Master Smuggler and thus HAM is now an afterthought. IMHO, of course!
To answer your question, you can probably get approx 5-25cpu, possibly more because of the high OQ & MAL. High MAL will give you lower encumbrance armor. Problem is, SR is the stat that directly affects how high the resists can be experimented on. As long as the other resources in the armor have high SR, then a low SR hide won't be that big of a deal.
This is all server dependent, but hopefully this will point you into the right direction for what to look for in your future hunts. In fact, dont worry about leathery at all, concentrate on finding a really good WOOLY hide. You can fetch about 70-100cpu if the OQ+MAL is under the "GODLY" category.

Yeah the SR of 350 really hurts it, but...
I have been paying more recently for high Mal stuff. Low HAM has just become a pet issue of mine, so I have been looking for more high Mal resources. Also Leathery hide in most schematics does not make a huge hit in the % that I have seen, so it may be "good enough". That low SR might make the difference of 1 or 2 % in the final resists. To some that might not matter much.
