I cam across an NPC named Mol Ni'mai at Datooine. He was all on his own out in the middle of nowhere and he didn't want to speak to me, only to a Master Armorsmith:

"Bah! You waste my time. The armor crafting techniques I offer is far beyond your comprehension. Come back when you have mastered the armorsmith profession andmaybe then you'll have a chance to understand what I have to teach."

I'm not an armorsmith myself and have no idea if this is common armorsmith knownladge but just wanted to let you know
