Got 11 from a Krayt dragon our guild took down. I need to know specific things like:

How much are these worth?

Are they like tissue in that they have serial #'s and have to be used together?

If you could give me some insight on these components I would appreciate it.

You need to tell us the % and how many do have the same serial #.

Ok that is a start. I am not sure about the serial number ( they all came from the same krayt) but I believe 10% rings a bell. I am not in game atm so I will have to check tonight.

Thanks.

10% is the lowest you can get, and doesn't makevery high % armor.

Not many armorsmiths even bother with10% becuase the resources needed to make it are usually worth more than the final product.

Just to add, you can make better standard Adv composite segments than 10%. IIRC i am pushing the 18% on standard adv segments. Also when you use Krayt segments all resists become effectiveness.

The highest krayt compositesegment i have seen was 31%. I had 3 of these went to make some legs made that ok (good success), then on the 1st experimentation i got a marginal success, wasnt impressed. They ended up with below standard encumberence and 60% effectiveness resists. I could have gotten them to the max experimentation point, 80% resists, if not for that marginal success. I actually had quite a few bad experimentations on looted armor components that same night, lost night sister shards and some other high krayt segments.

I have been able to get IIRC high 40's resists with 14% krayt segments andmid 50's with 18% krayt segments.

I wear a pair of comp boots made from segments. 52% protection, but the encum is all in the teens. Very very light weight.

someone i found was kind enough to give me 22 10% kryat scales for 10 k (he just wanted to ditch them) and i was able to make 44% vs all(-stun) composite with it, not horrible, but not great either

What do I expect? A game that I paid $50 for and $15 a month to work.
