In my opinion, and this is also how I did it, is to grind mabari armor chest plates. Probably isnt the cheapest way because you need a constant supply of hide and synthetic cloth but it is pretty fast. Once you hit a the ubese box in the AS tree you can make ubese shirts for a decent ammount of XP, and they dont require as much specialized resources as chest plates!

Mabari Chestplates, AUK's or Ubese shirts. AUKs are the most efficient I think as far as xp/resources.

Seriously though I can understand grinding, but if you are serious about the professionI'd like to suggest at the least to stop and"smell the roses" by taking the time to play with your schematics some along the way. I'd say if you want to, grind up Tech, then maybe get Layers 1, and then start doing PA. Play around with some kinetic and energy layers, and then at each new box of PA stopping to make some of the armor just to see how it works and get familiar with it before going on. Then do Deflectors last and maybe make a few of each level just to see what you get. You'll have a much better feel by the time you get to Master and it won't take that much extra time to do.

Everyone has heard the stories about the "Master" Armorsmith who asks "Which is Ubese and which is Tantel?". Don't be that guy.

if you are grinding and want to keep armorsmith I might suggest this alternative way to grind that worked for me.

get a bunch of hides (go on one hunt to dathomir and hunt some rancors, even if you are low level tag a long and harvet, and you will be set for a while), and buddy up with a tailor to supply you with some synthetic cloth. plant some harvesters so you will always have metal, fiberplast, etc. (you are grinding quality won't matter). and do this

make a bunch of complete sets of mabari, make different colors, play around and have fun with it. I did two things with these complete sets, sold them for 3k a set on the bazaar (put it in a back pack that is named full set mabari that your tailor friend will make for you). These sell pretty well in the big cities that attract noobs like coronet. even the gloves give better XP than AUks so making full sets is fine.

here is what i did that was different......remember you are in this for the profession.......I ground up the experimentation tree first. Then by the time I started making chitlin and what not, i could sell that on the bazaar and in my shop. because i first did experimentation my stuff was better than all the grinders out there and my stuff sold well. Also all those noobs that you gave away (yes give it away free) full sets of mabari to will come to your shop and by your chitlin, come back and buy your usbese, and later composite, etc.

if you are too busy to give the stuff away and want to grind for a while, put the extra pieces in the bank, get some droids, etc. also if you are giving it away (getting that needed loyal customer base) you can name the armor "Joryne armor cheap at -1000 -1000" or whereever your shop is. They just started and dont know any other armorsmiths and will ALWAYS come buy your stuff later if you give them their first set of armor free.

just my 2 cents and offering a way to grind for those who plan on keeping in the proffesion
