Hi all. I was hoping to get a little info from the vast collective that is the ArmorSmith forum
I'm about to start producing my first runs of armor, but I thought I would do a little research first. While I've found lots of great info and posts so far, I haven't found anything regarding HAM costs. What total HAM costs can I expect, (should I shoot for)on a couple different suits??
I'm looking at making a 80%Kinetic, nice light grind armor, a triple electric layer heavier resists suit with about 65% - 67%base, and a light stun PvP armor. (Light on the stun, heavy on the PvP
) If anyone can tell me, like I said, the general total HAM range I should expect that would be great. All suits are composite, and I am a 12 pointer.
Thanks again all.

3 layered kinetic will put you around 700 ham across the board. 3 layered electric will be around 650 ham. 3 layered stun will be about 900.

I can make 80% Kin, 68% Base with HAM around the 550 mark..... (All standard without enhancers)...
I am trying to get the HAM to below 500 if I can, before I make any large runs.... Trade secret on the production method!

nice armor. really all depends on where you put your points. if you go for the highest base possible, you'll end up around 700. i could take 2 or 3 points out of base at each combine and drop it into ham and get into that neighborhood.
thought about doing that for some grindwear stuff, but decided to go with higher condition instead, which seems to be selling well. using some of my 2nd best resources, i make 66% base, 80% kinetic, with 43k condition. once the CU hits and ham actually starts to matter again, i'll probably switch over to low ham armor instead, but as the system is now, not many people run around grinding without buffs, so i think the greater condition is more beneficial.

if you want HAM low it is easy to get lighter than this even, drop the base resists, use better mal (your layers should be around 1/2/1 HAM). If the base is 68% you have a ton of way to go in HAM, expect base around 63% or so if you want it super light

Point is I want to keep the semi high base AND low HAM..... True I need some better MA in my resources, especially the layers as my layers are currently 2/2/2, but I feel I can get under 500's HAM and base near 70% if I keep at it...

Well, playing around with the AS little helper, (the creator of that program deserves a cookie. Maybe 2
) and assuming I plugged in the numbers right the suits I'm looking to make will look like this.
Kinetic.
80% Kinetic 61% Base (63% Chest) with HAM at 643/572/662
3 Layer Electric
80% Electric67% Base (69% Chest) and HAM is 807/743/825
Light Stun (1 Stun Layer, 2 Elec Layers)
11% Stun 80% Electric 65% Base (66% chest) HAM at 787/716/798
Heavy Stun (3 layers)
24% Stun 74% Electric 63% Base (65% chest) with HAM at 830/770/852. I could have had the stun as high as 33% but then the HAM was pushing the 930 average mark, seems a little heavy to be worth it.
Decent products?? Questions?? Comments?? Thanks for the input so far everyone.
