THough this bug was fixed & if not why cant we change all armour colours?.

Isnt this ability actualy hurting AS sales if the buyer cant replace his black bracer he might just buy a whole new suit.

Explanation for only Jedi PCs using them is .....?

True, it might increase sales, but I'm not complaining.

Why?

Cos I rather like the ability to do a mass-production of a certain type of composite and not have to worry if a customer doesn't like their blue or red armor. I like not having every single composite-wearer in solid black. (Not that they aren't anyway.... ) I like being able to mix my *own* armor to reflect my color preferences without having to make myself a whole new set just because I don't want it in silver or green anymore.

Maybe I'm just an oddball... been told that before.

PAINT KITS

When will they realize that this makes sense? Droids and vehicles all allow it, why not armor?

It would kinda ruin part of the allure of padded armor. My customers love having custom colors made and get even more excited when they find it has there name on it.

Being able to change your composite color actually boost sales I think. People are not hesitante on buying armor in the wrong color, cause they can make it any color they want.

What if the customer wanted green and all you had was blue? You think they would just buy a whole suit to make it blue? No, they would just keep looking for the color they want or just mail an AS to get it.

With the ability to change the color on their own, they would just buy your blue composite piece and then change it to the green that they desired in the first place.

In my opinion, this was great for composite sales and may have actually been the reason we see so much of it out there now.

Indeed.... I belive there are four reasons we see comp...

  • It offers the best resists

  • It is the most flexable, can be made into anything from 200's HAM (sliced) mini sets to 90% base40% stun tank armor

  • It is the easiest to make - near every other armor type needs more organics

  • It can change colour, so the customers like it

By your arguements, that means that it needs fixed or other armours need a pallete change.

Although paintkits is the most obvious solution

As much as we like to say we've keepin it under wraps the devs know about this and they have something in store for it in the future that I'm not allowed to talk about
