I wanted to start-up on an artisan professional, and felt I need to give something back to the community(Plus I wanted a challenge)! So, I was wondering what kind of set-up will I need to become a successful armorsmith? What types of harvestors, crafting station(if any), and resources have seen to work for you. But, the one thing I really would like to know if what resources(names) should I be harvesting? Thanks

www.swgcraft.com has a list of all the resources you'll need (go to the AS skill tree).

I currently use 16 wearables factories, 2 equipment, and a storage house (with a storage vendor). To start off, I'm sure 5 factories will be enough for making small runs.

For resources... if you have the credits, then just buy them all now (look for high OQ+SR for base % stats, and then MA for encumberance). If you don't, then spend months waiting for good resources to spawn - it took me 3 months waiting, and then 10 million credits to buy what I didn't have. Make sure you have at least6 BER13 mineral and chemical harvesters, so you can collect as muchof the decent spawns as possible to last you forever. To get the hides that you need, get yourself into a friendly guild

Why.... I have 2 and do OK, thinking of using a third, but 16!
