I've been looking over the schematics posted elsewhere in this forum. One thing I notice is the segments say 4 individual layers, the cores just list line items for segments. Nowhere is it posted "identical segments" into a core or "identical layers" into a segment, or "identical cores" into an appearance.
Question 1: Is it possible to hand craft an entire suit of assault, or other mult segment & core suit, without ever touching a factory (except for tailor components)? If so, does this imply you could have a laundry list of modifiers in the final suit?
Question 2: Do the appearance modifiers change stats at all OR as is posted in the original write-up all stats are configured in theat core completion? Thus to make that uber piece of armor it must be hand crafted from the segment point at least.
Queston 3: Is it still possible to mass produce final product or can you only go to the core stage and putting the cores into the appearance must be hand crafted?
Thanks,

no... you need identical cores

noone has gotten this far yet.. but my speculation based on what blixtev said is that the cores are like the chair you sit on... and the appearance is just the upholstery

good question... my speculation is yes you can still mass produce if you go with a particular color scheme

So does that mean Mandalorian and RIS are going to be nothing more than fashion statements?

Looks to be that way. No way to know though until we are able to test it. We don't even know if the method to RIS cert has changed. But from what the devs have said the new Mando comes out as an appearance skin that you assemble with regular cores later. It's yet to be seen if they have innate bonuses on the Mando and RIS skins.

Then why do the resource stats matter. I read in a few other posts its 33oq/33sr/33ut
