Hey, what values are people getting for the different segments and what is it coming out to be in the end?
Also, does the resources used in the skin matter AT ALL in the resists? Or is it just the cores?

I dont know off hand what im gettin for seg resists, but cores and segs stack. It's a triple layer system that is frustrating to eperiment with. However, all resourses used in skin only affect condition, so use resourses with hi DR.

i'm wondering the same thing, i'm looking to getsome numbers on everything, stats on segmentswhether they used layers or not, if so whats the stats on those, stats on the cores, and final combines on the armor...
Unlayered Battle Armor Segment (bad aluminum)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
General Protection: 83%
Stats: 847
Unlayered Assualt Armor Segment (bad hide)
-----------------------------------------------------------
GP: 81%
Stats: 836
Basic Battle Core (using those segs)
------------------------------------------------------
GP: 92%
Stats: 1876
Hind:-18.6%
Basic Assualt Core (using those segs)
--------------------------------------------------------
GP: 90%
Kin: 2846
Engy: 846
SP:1846
made two suits of battle armor from those battle cores and came up with the following results:
Padded Armor & Bone Armor
-------------------
12939 condition
2000 resists
20.0% Hinderance
when i examine these pieces of armor theres just too many 2s and 0s it makes me think something is up, anyone know the formula on how the numbers on cores are converted to the numbers in the armor?

Basic armor cap at 2000, standard at 4000 and advanced at 6000
I get around 890-900 on my segments, 5000-5200 on cores, 5400-5600 on final combine (only making advanced faction armor right now).

Ok, I'm getting 925 on all my segs and I just wanted to see how that would pan out to the end. Figure 5800ish then. And yeah.. almost not worth making anything but faction until the magic wears off...lol. We have people selling 2.5mil per suit on Bria... whew...

there are hard caps on armor resists, kinda like the 80% used to be before the CU.
type basic standard advanced
battle 2000/2000/2000 4000/4000/40006000/6000/6000
recon 1000/3000/2000 3000/5000/4000 5000/7000/6000
assault 3000/1000/2000 5000/3000/4000 7000/5000/6000
these are for armor made for non-layered segments. if layered, you can go above these levels.

Hmmm, 6000 cap? I seem to have sliced armor over at 6200 or so after conversion, Then after refit, it removed the fact that it had been sliced, Now I can slice it again for even more protection. I'll post some stats when i get home

6000 is the cap on base stats (in you make 6000 base assault it will have 7000 kinetic so don't look at just kin). As no armor converted to over 51xx base I highly doubt you have 6000+ converted. But yes slicing can get you higher, 6000 is the hard cap when crafting.

No capp is wrong on an advanced battle set i believe Ive acheived 6700, I think it was on kinetic...I dunnoI could be mistaken.

Cap is not wrong, are you sure you are talking about BASE, the basic unlayered value elemental resists will have (and kin/energyon battle armor)? Sure with layers you can get higher but that's something completly different. The base value is the value hindrance is based on and it's the value that decides how good slice you get etc.
