Besides the standard materials... what Items are needed for the RIS armor?

I know I need an RIS Schematic, but how many times can it be used?

What is a decent price for this schematic?

Thank you in advance!

Well, there are many schematics. RIS segment then all the armor pieces. You cannot buy these schematics, you must learn them after doing the RIS quest. Once learned, its like any other schematic. Use it to your heart's content.

If you are talking about the Interwoven RIS schematic. We no longer need them. You will need to get Gurk King hides, Woolymander bone fragment and GDK scales to make a RIS segment. The segment goes into the final combine of RIS armor. RIS is battle armor so your local AS has to make layers, segments, and cores. Enhanced the segments currently there are no core enhancers. Then the cores are combined with the RIS segment and Feather appearance enhancers to make final pc with stats. Note: RIS segments use to have stats that determine the stats of your final pc of amor but with the CU the segment no longer have stats. Stats on RIS are now determined by the quality of the craftedAdv.Battle cores.

This is why I'm not an armorsmith...

Okay... let me see if I get this right.....

If I want to commision a local armorsmith on Shadowfire to create a set of RIS armor for me.... I DON'T need to supply any schematics. I DO need to supply the bones, GDK scales, gurk hides.... and a feather (i think).

No feathers are not. Nor ever were actually -required- for crafting RIS.

Before CU they were used in layers. Which well.. quite frankly sucked compared to many looted layers for the purposes of reducing HAM cost. There IS a point to using feathers now though. As post CU Peko Peko feathers add an HP bonus to the armor piece.

Exactly.

Peko Feathers only add a health bonus.

To the original poster:

You need 9 of each loot; GDK, Gurk King and Woolamander. However, just as an added measure, I'd bring some extra in case the experimenting on the final combine fails. (I once had 4 failures making 7 pieces!)

If there are some items left after the craft (you'll most likely need 2 stacks of each type of loot anyway), you can always give them to the AS as a tip and I'm sure most of us will really like the gesture.
