I'm wondering how important the Wooly Hide really is when making a Composite Armor?

The amount of Wooly hide is fairly low compared to all the other resources needed in the making of a Composite armor so my guess is that in comparison it's not that important.

Are there any special traits to Wooly Hide? Are the stats totally random or are there some stats that seem to stay high or low?

write this on your hand...OQ, Malleability, and Shock resistance...even tho the amount of wooly is small compared to intrusive or known solid petro, every little bit of OQ helps. i use 570OQ wooly for my vendor, and 923OQ for friends and guildies, and get 4-5% higher with the higher OQ hide (ie 50% everything vs 55% unlayered, all resources the same except wooly)

A great deal of the final piece of armor that is crafted is dictated by the armor segments that you use in the initial combines. Fortunatly these Segements do not use Wooly Hide.

The final combine isapproximatly 10% ofthe required materials.So finding highquality Wooly isn't as important asInert Petrochems, Intrusive Ore, and Fiberplast it's still relativly important if you are trying to make the best armor that can be made (who isn't?)
