I am finaly picking up a set of Post CU armor and was hoping someone could tell me what types of Recon armor I can wear with cybernetic arms. Being an Imperial Bothan I get shafted on the faction armor. Can I wear the mabari or ubese? Tantel? Or am I pretty much stuck with faction armor and a crapy looking helmet to go with it?

Tantel works....the best choice anyways from a financial standpoint also.

Hello,
Well, I noticed that both Ubese and Mabari include arms when you make the chest piece and take up 5 cores insted of 3 like most other chest pices. But Tantel uses just the 3 cores and has a more "just Chest" look to it so I would imagin that you could use that with the Cyber-Arms. It also has a very large color palet so there are lots of vibrent colors to choose from.

Thanks for the responces. Yes, the tantel seems to be the only non-faction armor without the arms on the chest piece. Another question thou, there is no real difference in the protection offered by the different types of recon armor is there?

No, all recon offers the same protection. Tantel is a good choice because the arm pieces aren't built in. It allows you to wear cybernetics (like you want), but it also doesn't waste money when it wears out. Chest pieces wear out much quicker than arm pieces, so if you buy the ubese or mabari, when the chest wears out, you have to throw out two of your arm pieces also in a sense. In tantel, you just replace the chest piece and save a few creds.
