Thread: How useful are these to an Armoursmith?

I was sorting out my storage houses on lok when i spotted a Giant Dune Kimo, After quickly killing it i looted these
my knowledge of Post CU armour is pretty weak as I've never bought any, Are these the post-CU version of GDK scales? if so are these still a RIS component?

No there not a replacement, there just another loot in the GDK's loot table. There is also a chance to get "Kimo scales" which are health enhancers for Assault.
These are not half bad for looted, 5600 will make cap armor what you have there is a battle core used in the makeing of battle armor itself, this core will make 5800ish battle armor, not much differance in protection between that and 6k capped unlayered stats. Quite valuable to a Armorsmith that dont have the resources to make alot of armors. Not uber expensive valuable but a decent fair price I would say.
