Ok I got horn from a box while looking for the Woolymander Harrower Bone Fragments.What is Horn used for? I should be able to pos the stats in about an hour.

I looted 22 units of horn over the weekend.

Its description is exactly the same as bone, it comes in a bone container with the exception of a different label on the side of the container.

What is it used for, and what is its value?

It's not used for anything. I think it's leftover from the original SWG beta (I'm assuming scouts were able to harvest it from creature corpses like hide and bone), and now only exists as a loot item.

You might be able to find a collector interested in it, but as a resource it's only useful for making items requiring "creature structural", which AFAIK is only used in Vayerbok (a chef drink), and obviously hide and bone are easier to gather a large stack.

I'm not sure if it was ever harvestable. The only way I had heard of getting it prior was finding it in loot containers in dungeons.

Hello there,

I'll vouch for "horn" being harvestable... when I was a master ranger I harvested 3 or 4 different critters' and get "horn."

Been a while since I've seen it, though...

If the horn the original poster is referring to is the horns looted off certain kashyyyk animals (for example, minstyngars), that's loot to be sold to the junk dealers for a few hundred credits per piece. They stack, with the value cumulative.
