Are you asking us what armor you want us to buy? We're crafters and can't wear any! If you want to know what we think is important to stock, we can help you out!

Well I can tell you my best seller is still assault, and still composite. For recon my best seller is ubese. And battle cored armor seems to be an even mix. Most orders for padded and/or mabari are custom orders there is just so many combinations it is impossible to tell. For composite and ubes, it seems black is still the most popular for custom orders followed by red.
Hope that helps you out

I've just started stocking what I call [EMT] Battle, which is basically white padded with red pads, I have no chance of keeping that stocked, as it has to be made by hand. I put up 5 suits, and same day they are gone.
Also..people will buy white compo, which can be factory run, and they do buy a lot of black padded which can also be factory run. Black Ubese is a problem as the boots head and chest cant be factory run.

Really, it depends on what type of shop you run. Though I wouldn't call my shop an industrial powerhouse, I run a fairly high-traffic shop with sales of around 10M per day. Although my shop is primarilybased around factory production, I also do a fair amount of custom work.
Here's how I operate:
- Never worry about color. I could put up utterly mismatched, puke-color armor and it would sell just as fast(in fact, thanks to the wonderful factory color bugs, I did just that with a run of 40 padded suits ... heh). When factory colorization is working properly again, just make your armor in fairly neutral colors -- black is always popular, as are white, tan, grey, and blue. I suggest picking a particular color scheme for each armor and just run with it.
- Stock both full suits in packs and individual pieces. Whenever I make a run of armor now, I make about 15-25% more chestplates, helmets, and leggings than my number of full suits. Also be sure to stock arm pieces, boots, and gloves. People will want them and buy them.
- Layered armor is a fairly slow mover with the exceptions of energy-layered reconnaissance and primus-layered battle armor. Thoseseem to be worthkeeping stocked. Though you might wish to stock a suit or two of various layered armors just to show that they're available, your cores are best reserved for custom orders.
- Composite remains the best seller, for whatever reason. You can stock chitin alongside it, but chitin seems to be rather unpopular. For battle armors, padded and marauder are favored over bone. For reconnaissance armor, tantel and ubese are about equally popular. Mabari has too many drawbacks to be useful.

Composite is the best seller for assault cause it looks kewl. Look at their other choices? I think if there was a composite appearance for Assault / battle / recon it would be the best seller for all categories. I find red composite (The jedi made me do it!) to be a good seller though I have had a few requests for Olive and a request for 2 sets of Pink. Wookies have a yellow fetish I think unless making a custom order all my wookie armor is made yellow and they just eat it up. Ubese and Tantel it is Black and white with a bluish tinge to the metal on the tantel although my Rifleman / Ranger tantel is purple and white with redish metal but that is because he likes to be different.

Armor... I like to see armor stocked on an armor vendor. Not loot, or resources, or anything else... just armor.
