Due mostly to my extreme happiness that I've completed "the grindiest grind that was ever ground,"I decided to dedicate a thread to all you folks still in the trenches. I'd like to request anyone with a funny story, or even a desire to reminisce to post here and support me in my absurdity. Now for the meat of this post, MY STORY, as it were:

After over a month grinding a little here, a little there, (since I am not one who can log hours at a time)...I've finally reached that blessed pinnacle that many who frequent these forums are is search of. I am using this oppurtunity to tell of my accomplishment in the hopes that it will provide hope to the true crafters out there, discourage those who aren't willing to put forth real effort,...

or at least give a good laugh to the community since this thread is pretty ridiculous, if I might say so myself.

I'd also like to add that my character accomplished this without respecs, and never with more than 300k in the bank.

As far as the respec goes...when I started SWG, it was about 2 weeks pre-CU.Then came the CU,I didn't know what the hell was going on or what a respec was for...clearly I'm not much further ahead now...a feeling not wholly unfamiliar to most of the community post-CU.

As far as the money goes...what can I say, I'm not much of a businessman..."not in an environment such as this, anyway." The money I did have, was earned by investing in a few harvesters and selling half my take in minerals on the bazaar...I got lucky in pulling some high-quality stuff and that let me buy bigger harvesters.

Anyway, I started grinding manually, did segments/cores till 3000, then started manually grinding ubese shirts until 4001.At that point I decided to try to learn how to write/tailor macros and really got moving. From that point on, it took me about a week, give or take to finish out...and here I am. Maybe now I can make some money :-).

So you see, it can be done...keep grinding and May the Force be with you.
