I want to buy some RIS now and no one on ahazi seems to be in the mood to make any. So i was wondering, should i just buy someones pre-cu ris set and just break it down? Can i loose out in any way by doing that? The old condition, resists, color, and name wont matter? I can just take the ris segs to someone later down the line?

Yes you can, I haven't done this yet myself, but from my understanding you get the scale, bone, and hide loot back and that can be recrafted. Why no-one is really interested in doing this, I can't say. I have several suits and stuff to make mseveral suits, just need to get the time to do so.

when you take about the RIS, you get the segment..that is it...so the only thing an AS needs is the talus fiber, chrom alum, battle cores, and syth cloth..i took all my RIS apart and i recomment everyone doing this. unless you have adk's and attachments in the RIS...the stats came out way higher then the converted stats...
i had 80kin/90% base RIS pre-cu that converted to 5160 on all stats...suck... i remade it to 5800 base and 6800kin/energy...so everyone....take them apart!

Yeah I figured it would come out better, not like the Dev's said anything about good Pre Cu armor being good Post CU armor ![]()
Just focusing right now on keeping armor stocked and most importantly getting legs and arm pieces in, since I didn't have much made as they were not highly requested....
