Heya... i'm just starting out with armorsmithing... mostly to replace a guildie who is leaving... I'm slowly getting the hang of it... but it is slow... i've never done anything with crafting... while i understand the resources and requirments... i haven't found much on 2 - 3 points...
1... Does it matter the quality of the tool?... i've seen some 14.95 (or whatever...) I am only able to craft tools in the (-) range... but don't seem to be able to experiment on them either...
2... Where in the world do i craft things like Load Bearing Harness/Armor Core/Reinforced Fiber Panel... am i going to need to rely on other professions for these?... i've tried a number of stations and tools and don't seem to be able to make any of these..
I am also a master armorsmith...
Any help you could give me with these would be greatly appreciated... Thanks...

Reinforced Fiberplast Panels, Synthetic Cloth and Fiberplast Panels are what you need. Pick up tailor 0200 and make them yourself or hook up with an active tailor to either have them make the schems or to buy crates from them (you're going to need a lot).

If you're going to do Wookiee armor, you'll also need Armor Padding which tailors get at -3--.
As for "Load Bearing Harness" and "Armor Core" check for the item that actually fills the slot -- you're looking at the slot name. The former is going to be Synth Cloth/Fiberplast Panels/Reinforced Fiber Panels and the later Basic/Standard/Advanced Assault/Battle/Recon Armor Cores (which you can make).
Synth Cloth requires 16 Fiberplast 4 Inert Petrochem.
Fiberplast Panels require 8 Fiberplast 2 Metal. (If you have Artisan -1-- you can make them yourself.)
Fiberplast Panels require 8 Fiberplast 2 Metal. (If you have Artisan -1-- you can make them yourself.)
Reinforced Fiber Panels require 20 Fiberplast 5 Inert Petrochem 5 Metal.
Armor Padding requires 15 Hide 10 Wooly Hide 5 Fiberplast.
Gather your own resources and find a tailor who will make the schematics for you -- then handle the factory runs on your own.
As for the quality of your crafting tools, I've read here and there that it really doesn't matter OR that it doesn't matter as long as it's better than 0. Never have seen anything definitive about it. If you want uber tools, find some copper with conductivity as high as possible then find a master artisan to make your tools for you -- 1000 CD copper will get you a +15 tool.

You also need to be standing beside a crafting station to craft high level components such as Cores, layers, etc.

It's debatable, but you might as well go for the highest quality, plus they last forever so a one-time investment won't kill you. Also, get the highest-quality Crafting Station you can afford, your guild probably hasone though.
