Thread: Post CU wookie armor padding.
My pre-CU Wookiee Pillo-, er, Armor Padding was made from 25 units of Wooly (941OQ 957SR 871UT) and Fiberplast (942OQ 958SR 904UT). As a 12pt Tailor, I got them up to 4% and something like 320 condition, I think. They converted with stats of 730 Kinetic, 730 Energy and 730 to all the elementals too.
Post-CU crafting with the same materials, pre-experiment values came out as 8% Durability and 27% Quality. I made two pads. The first had 2 pointsto Durability and 10 to Quality , coming out 24% and 94%. The second had 12 points to Durability, coming out at 95% 27%.
I then pulled some crappy materials -- Wooly at 189OQ 496SR 275UT and Fiberplast at 314OQ 920SR 722UT. Pre-experiment values were 1% Durability and 8% Quality. Darn ... didn't write down my point split for my first test, but I maxxed early on Quality -- end result was 26% Durability 38% Quality. Second test had all 12 points in Durability -- end result was 70% Durability 8% Quality.
So, 4 test pads with some good variety on the experimental outcomes. What effect did it have?
Nada. Nothing. Zip. Zilch.
All the newly-crafted Armor Paddings are stat-free. I sure hope this is broken -- otherwise, what's the point of experimenting on it? Looks like an issue to raise on the Tailor board (if it hasn't come up already).
... and damn am I glad I ran off 1000 of those 4% pads pre-CU....

They dont make great armor, but instead of wasting them, use them as just one seg with 2 other uber segs - That way you still have good armor but not using up all your uber resources - just a thought
