to craft my BH armor schems... I was told that the protection for kin should be about 8000 and the en should be about 6000.

Not possible since raising the kinetic protection will reduce its energy protection.
Energy Layered: 5800K 6200E 6000 Elemental.
Kinetic Layered: 8200K 3800E 6000 Elemental.
Primused Layered: 7600K 5600E 3800* Elemental.
*i think lol
These numbers are the best stats possible for those layers used.

yeah layered you can move 1200 points from energy to kin... meaning that the standard 7k kin 6k energy will become 8k kin 5k energy.
