I've done a little research and found nothing that covers this situation so I going to see if any of you have come across this...

A while back, a good friend of mine made me a full suit of Imperial Scout armor for me to use. I bio linked it and happily wore it for a while. When I was not running faction missions, I used my normal Ubese armor. To keep track of the Scout armor, I placed it inside a container inside of my city hall for easy recovery.

The other day, I decided to get the Scout armor out and wear it again. All of the pieces are still showing the decay that they had but only the belt and gloves are still bio linked. I tried to equip them thinking this was just a graphical bug but I was informed that I'd need to spend XXXX faction points to bio link this piece of armor.

So, have any of you seen or experienced this before? Any help is appreciated.

I would say it did break the bio link since you put it in a structure or container that was not your own. I know if you put something insured in another persons house it looses its insurance. So I guess it broke the bio-link. It shouldn't have but its prolly a bug they haven't fixed. try filing a ticket and they may be able to help?

Hmm, I've never had this be an issue before with other items that I've insured. The odd part of this is that City Hall is considered my "residence" since I'm the mayor so technically it was in my house. The other part that makes no sence is why the belt and gloves are still OK...

I was planning on sending in a ticket but I've not had any good experiences with them correcting a problem when I've lost something...

Hmm, well I have stored bio-linked katarn armour in a storage house that isn't on my 10 lots Either maybe its the being stored in the city hall or only pertains to faction bio-linking...or something totally different. In some ways this might be a good bug; if you wanted to sell something that's been bio-linked perhaps

Well, I'm not sure what there is to share. I don't honestly remember the date of when I tossed the suit into storage so I can't point to one patch or another and get a threory from there.

One friend of mine did mention that it may have been from when they worked on the slicing of bio linked armor but if I recall, I had the suit linked after that. I'll get some other BL items and give them a try.

They where stored in one of the wooden bookcases if that has anything to do with it.
