Hello fellow armormiths.
I had do some tests with (quad) kinetic layers:
> Assault armors are over 8000K / around 4000E (+2400 with PSG vs. ranged energy) / 6000 elementals
I have some commands forfully kineticBH crafted armors.
> Recon armors around 6000 everywhere (without PSG).
I am about to craft mine for harvesting.
Do you think that any ofthose can be attractive for our customers?

I have sold a grand total of 1 (yes, one) quad-kinetic layered suits. Admittedly, I havn't had many in stock - energy and primus layered armor seems to sell so much better.
I guess that kinetic armor is mainly for grinding xp, and not too many people are willing to dish out a million for grinding armor.

Agreed. The only other place I can see it being used is high end PvE. However, the problem there is that most high end PvE starts at ranged (Energy, usually) then comes to Kinetic, making Primus layers most desirable there for a tank.

Do I have to use a few free-resource crates or just wait?
I currently craft quad-primus armors (6500 E/Kbattle armors for example) so I think that my resources are pretty decent.
But many customers are asking for "jedi hunting" recon and battle (because of numerous MBH/MCM) armors and I can not provide them what they want.
Now if I use crates for Plexite (and I will need several for 4000 layers) my selling prices will be perhaps toohigh.

I wouldn't think your price need to get too high, I sell layered armor at 1.2 mill and it sells well. Given that I have plenty of server-best energy-layered resources except plexite gemstone, the resource crate pays for itself.
