I have talked to 3 armorsmiths and they had no idea. They were like there is only one type in the game and that is assualt and that is what everyone wears.. uh no everyone wears battle and there are 3 types. How do you get a full set of Recon Maruader armor? And are there coloring options??! Thanks

i think you misunderstood them...

as far as i know... marauder armor is categorized as battle armor and you have to have battle armor certification to wear it.

you can double check this information but im pretty sure you are outta luck when it comes to trying to get marauder armor to be classified as recon or assault.

Here is the straight up answer, marauder armor only comes in battle at the moment. When I say that I mean craftable, the marauder theme park use to (may still) give marauder armor out as a four piece reward (leggings, chest, and bracers [maybe it was biceps]). That quest reward armor was converted to recon class armor with the CU, I do not know how it would work trying to get it from the quests now. So it is not craftable at this time, hopefully it will be put in sometime along with an assault appearance as well.

just wondering if I am remembering correctly, but wasn't there marauder assault armor when the CU was on test center but never made it live? I thought there was something like that.

There were 3 classes of Marauder armor available from the frog during CU testing. Recon Armor does indeed use the same appearence as the rewards you get from the Marauder missions on Endor. There was also Marauder Assault Armor. The armors were called Crafted Marauder Recon Armor, Crafted Marauder Battle Armor, and Crafted Marauder Assault Armor.

AnyMarauder Armor existing pre-CU was converted into the recon armor with absolute crap for stats. 1200 IIRC. Any newly awarded Marauder Armor has no resists and as far as I've seen is clothing (not sure if it triggers jedi/tka innate armor or not). The assault and recon armors have not been found in game in any form other than the quest reward stuff.

Presumably the Marauder Recon and the Marauder Assault armors will be put into the game as craftable at some point in the future (unless the crafted was put into the name for no good reason) much like some of the weapons shown for the CU that never made it live (Massassi Lance, Underslung Carbine, ect)

Ok I do not know where you get Recon Maruader armor.... I am very confused. Becasue I just went into a guildhall and I saw a full set of recon armor (they have added a helmet, boots, gloves.... it other words its a full set) Now if the quest option is still available where are these new pieces coming from? And regarding assualt armor, I just saw a full set of Assualt armor class Maruader armor... It looks very similar to battle. Where do you get this now?

We will need screen shots if they are really in game. We do not have the schematic for them and they have not yet been reported to this forum as found in game (I've ready every single post since the CU hit). If you saw a full set of recon marauder, examine it. Does it have stats? I believe the recon marauder from the thempark does not have resists, but may have some bonus like +5 ranged defense or something like that. The boots and gloves could have been crafted battle marauder and was renamed. The same thing could have been done for the assault that you saw.

I'm not calling you a liar, I'm just saying that the communitiy isn't aware of them being in game right now. If you could return to the guildhall you saw them in, take a screen shot while examining the armor, we will be able to see if the snuck them in somehow. If they did you made a great find and we'll look into it.

The Marauder stronghold on Endor does still give the Marauder "armor" though it is not armor anymore.It gives 4 peices. I have both pre-cu and post-cu versions. The post-cu has no resists and, I am pretty confident, has no mods.

i got the post cu set from endor- it looks like the stuff were familiar with from TC-CU,the stuff we were expecting to get, like 6-7 months ago?? no mods, no slots, no resists - just like clothing
