Hey as a new armorsmith(about a week old)im trying to plan ahead and get some resorces mined by the time i get master
So looking at what i should get a question popped up that i havent managed to figure out
but i might have got it all wrong so if i do please /bonk me
Here it goes (Info from crafting station)
Battle armor segment
Condition:
Overall quality 50%
Shock resistance 50%
General protection:
OQ 50%
SR 50%
Basic battle core
Condition:
Overall quality 50%
Shock resistance 50%
General protection:
OQ 50%
SR 50%
Sofar the items i make only "use" OR,SR
Now to the padded Battle
Condition:
DR 33%
OQ 33%
SR 33%
Suddenly the condition also "use" DR
so if i use for eg. a resources with: (yes ive found a resource kinda like this)
OQ 900ish
SR 900ish
DR 27
For making the segments and cores
Will the core and segments "inherit" and carry with them a low DR ?
or can i just get another resource for the last combine with higher DR ?
Will the other "not used" stats make any difference?
Hope this havent been answered to many times yet
TIA Steken

No, the low DR you used in the first two steps will NOT affect the the last step and will not be "inherited". The OQ/SR/DR used in that last step only takes into accout the resources that are ADDED in that step. The individual stats of the resources in the cores no longer matter.

Basically, the only time DR is used is in the final combine.
Everything before that (layers, segments, cores) uses OQ and SR only.

and as thus it only affects the Condition of the armor, not the protection.

yep so the DR isnt that important just try to make sure the armour isnt too far below 40k and you should be ok
