I'm wanting to roll up an Armorsmith within the next few months, and I'd like to start collecting the many resources I'll end up needing in the meantime.. I just need a complete list of every resources an Armorsmith needs to make everything possible by a Master lvl crafter, as well as what stats I ought to be shooting for in general. Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Go to swgcraft.com and take a look at their skilltree for Armorsmith. Use the links for all segments, advanced cores, and advanced layers and that should be a good starting point. In general you want to shoot for the highest OQ and SR you can find. If after viewing this you still want to "roll up an armorsmith", I wish you the best of luck.

The FAQ sticky has a complete list of post CU schematics. Stats? Obviously the bigger the number, the better. Think 800+ OQ and SR. 900+ is much better. Remember, though, that some resource have capped stats that will never get that high.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. I did see that schematic/resource list, just wondered if one existed that just listed 'one' of each resource required for everything, as sifting through every schem and hand writing the resource names/types, will get a bit cumbersome... but alas, I'll do that tomorrow if need be, no biggie. Thanks again for the help

Also you need to study about gated resources.

If you'd like, you can download a copy of the Excel spreadsheet I use to keep track of what and how many resources are needed for each item we can make. Gate values for my server (Lowca) are included -- don't know what the absolute gates are, but these will give you a good idea of what the value ranges should be close to on your server.

Gated resources? How and where do I go to get solid information on this?

Also, I clicked that clicky in the previous post in the hopes of shedding some light on 'gated' resources, but alas, it would not display it properly.. nothing but chicken scratches. Also, I'm on Lowca as well, just wish I could access that clicky to get the info you've compiled.

Sorry -- in my browser I get a "save file" option ... that's what you need to do, since it's a zipped excel file ... try right clicking on the link and seeing if there is a save option ... otherwise, PM me your real email and I'll send as an attachment.
