This armor is in the game but it is only in one color and I know you obtain some parts of it by questing. Is there any way that this will ever be craftable and if so will there be color options?

It should be one day, yes. They also made an assault version and I guess they were available on the ROTW test server, but the schematics never made it into game and nobody knows why. Hopefully they will be put in sooner than later.

At the moment, it is only available through a quest and has no armor rating. It is only decorative. While it would be cool to be added for us, nothing has been mentioned about it. However, we do know that recon and assault murauder do exist...they were in the CU beta. It all just depends if the devs want to convert it into live and make it craftable armor.

Also, the marauder armor that was given as a quest reward before the CU did convert to recon armor. I've got biceps, leggings, and a chest plate that is recon armor.
