Hi I just finished my AS grind and was wondering what is the difference between Padded and Marauder? Which ones have better resists.

Do people buy Bone armor at all if Padded/Marauder are better?

There is no difference between padded and marauder other than appearance, they are both battle. Although, I find marauder to be the most popular battle choice other than RIS on my server.

The first thing you have to grasp as an AS is that, within a class (recon, battle, or assault), no armor offers better protection than any other. Bone is battle armor. RIS is battle armor. They can be made with the same resists. People who were around before the CU have a hard time coming to terms with this

there is a huge difference

padded has the helmet with a plate on the top, marauder has the syndey opera house for a helmet
