Thread: Ok, its been a few months, when are we going to fix AS experimentation?

When are they going to add some level of complexity to the experimentation in crafting armor? The current system is pretty horrid. The lack of having to balance and choose what to experiment in has me completely bored. Started to craft the other day and after 5 minutes, logged out and over to my bounty hunter to play around.

Is there any word on any plans to address this?

To answer your question:
Not for a very long time.

And I am optimistic today, so that's the optimistic answer

I support the NGE - NOT!

I knew that resistances had to be toned down after the CU. I accepted this, this was for the good of the game.

I accept the fact that they changed resource requirements and move things around a little. Thats understandable, even if I did lose 100 million+ in credits because of the changes they instituted.

HOWEVER, every time I try to craft armor now and remembering the system before, experimentation lines for encumbrance, special protection, base... well I really just want to cry. I used to have fun crafting armor, now it seems pointless.

Why couldnt they have just changed the resource requirements and tone down the resistances WHILE keeping the old system? *shrug*

Simple, because Blixtev is incompetent and lazy.

Actually, I still don't know why they needed to "move things around a little" with resources.

because 5 resources per primus layer is a good thing, not to mention you need 4 layers now too

Right now I'm just looking forward to when I can make 3 segments for a custom core without losing 4 to failures.

Tip to LEC/SOE: Sci-Fi MMO players don't necessarily belong to the same resource pool as fantasy MMO players.
