as title says above

as jedispam said on another thread, its been roughly 6 weeks!! without a correspondant and as i'm sure everyone knows....every profession needs its 'backup' or in other words its correspondant to help out on certain bugs, so the devs know about all our problems and things that need to be rectified as soon as possible. And also small things like stickyingcertian very helpful threads is needed here.

So the AS's of SWG are calling out to you devs and mods to bring us a new reliable and helpful correspondant please.

Has anyone even applied for the position?

I do remember seing one post where someone said he had sent an application, don't remember who it was though.

Either the devs are being very choosy about who they accept....or they are just too busy/lazy to sort it out...or no-one has applied.

Personally I dont see any kind of Dev - Correspondant relationships worth a damn...if corrs. were listened to and their requests dealt with with some kind of priority, then itll show the player base that the system works.

Alas that isnt the case, and the high turnover of correspondants looks to be due to the severe lack of communiction at Developer level...and most people are going to make the natural assumptions that its because the devs have no communication skills, or they are all too busy making new expansions to line their pockets even more, before fixing the current game.

Things are not looking good though, communication is key here...and in this high tech world it seems the devs are using tin cans and string to talk to everyone, but someone has stolen the string and replaced the cans with bananas.

Actually I think I applied, but of course no answer. I started an Armorsmith just before CU so our guild would have an armorsmith. I struggled to learn how to make it and how to make it well. I nearly went blind reading this forum to get ideas and hints. I know what resources I need and how to stack and cap etc.

And I still get the questions..

"Would u make me sum armor, make it the bestu can and everything capped?"

And I guess it irritates me when people in my own guild ask...Does anyone know an armorsmith who can cap all stats and takes special orders?

I dunno..I make really decent armor at an affordable price. So I'm not the BEST on the server. Yeah, it irritates me and it makes me want to try harder, but Armorsmith is a real challenging craft. So, a correspondant would be good.

I think. Right now I am wishing I had a free respec on this character to maybe go dancer..

I agree we really need a corr and quick. We have too many bugs in this profession for us to keep missing fixes in publishes. It looks like no fixes in pub 24 either from what I have read so far in the notes.

This layer bug not telling you the actual numbers until it comes out of the factory is annoying and color pallete issues, etc. etc. Without a corr. we will keep getting skipped over for fixes in these publish's.

its proberly tigg's job to do it i think shes most likely on holiday as she hasnt poseted in a couple of weeks but hopefully we will get one soon

It's been discussed a few times in the past few weeks why SOE hasn't picked out a new corro, but no official word - just assumsptions so far.

Anyway, I know some of us AS's have applied (not me) but I thinkSOE's just taking their time.

We're just gonna have to wait.

The sad thing is, the only thing Corros are useful for these days is to edit the stickies.

We're just gonna have to keep bumping important/usefulposts and answering the same questions over and over and over again until the stickies can getupdated...

I'm still reporting bugs, guys, even if I don't post on this forum. I'm not going to just disappear. Take comfort (whatever you can) knowing I'll do my job up until they name my replacement
