Anyone know how to get 4 sockets? I just ran 2000 layers into 500 segments into 164 cores and wasted 12 assemblies (24 cores) until I got 4 sockets on try number 13. I was shooting for 75 production (allowed for 6 misses) and will now only get 69.

I think this is a bit out of wack. Anyone else?

max assembly, eat the cake, get the AS buff, go to a research center, get the FS lines of craftingand have perfect tools and crafting station

rarely takes me more then 2-3 tries and get 12 4 socket combines in a row the other day making factional

I'm running some numbers on tailor sockets right now, testing out what makes a difference. Not finished with the project yet, but it looks like (as mentioned above) assembly mods are the only thing that improves your chances. Assembly mods only explain a small portion of the story, tho ... its still mostly random. Again, that's for tailored items, but I doubt it'd be much different for armorsmith.

I had about half that.... i get lots of amazing successes.... but i just wasn't getting the sockets with it.... oh well...

Got the chest plate on the second try.... go figure, I had a ton of spare for it... lol
