Blix is looking for how the AS grind progression is. Too long? Too short? How's the XP for each tier?
At novice you can make basic cores. The segment gives 35xp and the final 140 (147 in practice). I think that is about in line with Mabari chestplates if I remember right? The nice thing is you don't have to bug your local tailor for RFP.

Grinding is a pain now, used to be you got 2x resources-used as xp, dropping to 1x slows things down a great deal. I made 13kxp in a good 70 - 90 minutes this evening.
Given you need what, 800k xp (ish) for Master, that gives you 60 - 90 hours roughly of grind, that's an awful lot of clicks if you don't get a better grind option higher up the skill trees.

It seems a bit cruel to have the basic cores be Complexity 35, meaning you need a private crafting station to make the simplest of armors (Mabari). For new players that can be a VERY costly affair. You need a house and then a crafting station.
Also, 7 cores for a mabari chest seems way off unless schematic limitsare magically raised. Considering the level of the armor it should be max 4. imo 3 is more fair.
Resource reqs for organics also seemwaaaay high. Is there a reason we are meant to use all our resources making 3 suits of armor and then go "Oh drat, there goes 10 million worth of resources"?

grind architect making gungan heads then just wait for the CU and u can switch to AS with your architect skill points, there will be lots of vacancies so dont worry about things like competition or undercutting lol.

Any armorsmithcrafted itemyou can make will give you XP... Like segments, layers, cores, armor pieces. PSG's, etc.
Any resource needed to make whatever it is you're making is what you'll need.

LOTS of threads on this, too. IF the search function is working, just type in "grind." If not, just browse a few pages. Once you pick a strategy you like, check the stickies for a list of the ingredients needed for every AS schematic.

check the FAQ stickied at the top of the page, a lot of information for new AS's up there. But I believe that mabari chestplates is the fastest for novice, but requires tailor components and LOTS of hide, and metal.

Actually, there isn't a grinding FAQ up there. The cheap, slow way is to grind segments to personal armor 3 and then grind ubese shirts. The quick, pricey way is to prepare thoroughly and grind mabari chest plates.
If the search is up and running, just type "grind" in and you'll find a lot of posts.
