When during the crafting process do I add ns shards or janta hide to get health bonus? I have them in my inventory, but they never appear in the ingredients when I am crafting armor.
Please help

They are segment enhancers that go into the segments (in the spot that is aptly named "segment enhancer" 
)

Keep in mind that segment enhancers can only fit into certain segment types (recon, battle, or assault). I'm not sure which ones are which, but it's in the stickies somewhere...probably the loot and health enhancer guide. Also, you can examine the enhancer to see what it belongs in.

Not all enhancers can be used with all types of armor, so that might be why you're not seeing them come up. Check out reply #3 on this thread for a guide on what enhancers go with what armor.

Ok, thanks everyone. My ns shards and janta hides now have a home.
New question....
I have nearly perfect resouces to make primus layers. When I experiment the value does not increase. I use the same resouces before and it was fine. Are primus layers bugged now?

Known bug. It's been with us a while. The display is just not updating. Max your experimentation and go ahead and run them through a factory. Stats will show up then.
