Questions for Armorsmiths...
let me preface these questions with the fact that I'm in Iraq, and so I don't have much time to search the boards, so... please no "look it up slacker"... I've tried with the limited time I've got and would rather be playing
1. when I last played (4 months ago) there were a lot of Skill Enhancing Attachments around. I was told at the time that those are for Armorsmiths, but they didn't work at the time. Do they work now? I play on Tarq and have a bunch, but don't know what to do with them.
2. when the personel shields go to 0 condition, are they any good? My shield states that I still have some protection, even though it's condition is 0. What is the deal?
thanks

Armor can now be made with sockets, so you can now add armor attachments to armor. They still don't stack if you put two of the same type of attachment in one piece of armor, but they work more or less. Things at 0 condition are useless, they still have stats, but will not block damage and cannot be repaired. Hope that helps.

It still helps with condition. That being said, if you offered me today what I paid for my suit, I'd laugh at you the whole time I was taking your credits.

Yep. All they do is raise condition.
I tested this last night. The condition on the cores does effect the final...even though it doesn't show any results during the crafting process.
Ummm...harder? Pfft.... Most have quit because it's so much easier that it's no longer a challenge.
If you need help training an assistant, I'm more than willing. See sig for details.![]()

Please, what a rip off. Just leave that chip alone in a room with two sticks and a stack of iron. He'll come out with some awesome (bad, medium, whatever, it's all the same) in 20 minutes!

I was looking to purchase the games best armor suit for hunting jedi. How high can the energy resist be now days??? I've heard it can be as high as 8100. Only problem is I haven't seen any to buy. How much do you think it would cost for the entire suit? Thank you for you time and answers

Shouldn't this question be in this thread -

Just kidding.
8100 stats protection is the maximum that you can receive, if the resources are prefect like 1000 stats for both SR and OQ for segments, cores and layers. While it isn't impossible it's difficult to attain if you don't have the right resources.
Is that about right guys?

Lol i didn't see the just kidding. I just wanted to know what the best was, I know that armorsmith is very difficult and you can't stock 8100 resist in great masses. I just wanted to see what the best out there is or could be with the best resources. Thanks for the reply.

Close. 8200 is the cap for perfect energy layered armor (12 layers at 100 points each). All servers can make 8100 or better energy recon armor--and recon armor onl--with that stat.
