Hi,

had a couple of attempts today at Stun Comp... This iswhat happened....

1st Attempt,

Used Gitu Steel, Moopoe Vertex , and Durapleh(Cant spell it) Crismfor stun plates,

Used my points in this order :

2

1 effective

7 resistant

that got me 2% base 13/13/13 Encumbrance and 11% Stun.

I used 3 of these plates and made 1 Comp segment,

38909/38909

33% Stun

69% Elec

60% Base

76

72

77

Encumbrance

quite happy with that but wanted more base so i though i'd replace 1 Stun Plate with an Electrcity 1.

Electricity Plate was 4% elec 4% base 13/13/13 Encumbrance.

35770/35770 (lost 3139 condition too)

Stun 22%

Elec 76%

Base 62%

72

69

74

Encumbrance..

I dont think the extra 2% base justifies the loss of 11% stun and 3k condition.

How can i raise the base and keep stun around 33%???.

thanks for any help...it s appreciated...

Why dont you just max the special and then put your remaining points into base? My layers use 8 points in special to get 87% and the last 3 go into base for 51%

No point in lowering encumbrance when you could dump your last two points into the base....

use the following method to make your stun layers....

In experimentation..

  • Put as many points into resist (bottom) as possible and hit experiment, if the result was not amazing bin it and try again, and again untill your first experiment is amazing.

  • One point at a time fill the rest of the bottom row, it will probably only take 1 point to do. If you get anything less than a great you need to bin and try again.

  • Use all remaining points in base (middle row). If you get anything less than a great you need to bin and try again.

Wahat I normally do

Fill in as many points in the bottom as possible (need one more point to max)
Fill in the rest except the one point needed to max special
Then I experiment

gives the most bang for the buck, but can take a while to get the three layers for a full run

I dont know about you guys, but I grind layers/segs until I get double amazings. Grind till you get an amazing on the 7-8 point first experiment, max the bottom, pop a port and experiment the base.

why not exp both at the same time?

I find that it give me more satisfaction than first getting amazings then having to be dependent on another mazing ;-(
The way I decribed gives you 11 points amazing and one that doesnt need to be to fill out the special line

yes you can double experiment... I havent decided if it uses more time/resources to get your end DA though. It DOES cut back on your complexity resulting in lower factory times though. (which is always useful for stun layers)

very much those eight seconds give us 2 hours and 13 mins less time to wait for a full run to finish
