From what I have seen over the last few weeks the whole econamy has gone bang.... Not sure whats going on but recently on Farstar....
- Trade has gone from vendors
- Price for +20 AS suits is under 20 mil
- Some of the best ever respources went up for auction recently with a start price of 5cpu, some did not even get a min bid (including the 989 oq Beyrllius Copper)
Anyone see the same...
Not sure what has caused it, people leaving, jedi, JTL.... It is sure odd.

The nerf to "group" mission payouts finally went through (or so I hear from my guildmates). There's less money coming in from mission terminals, which were far and away the greatest source of generated income in the game.

my guilmates easily make about 500k credits a day doing missions, i am selling more armor then ever before on intrepid.
resource pricing for top quality resources are off the roof, 20 cpu isnt unusual, have seen 100cpu or more.
i'd like to get one of these 20 exp suit at 20 mill, lol
i still am 10 pointer after 1 year of being armorsmith

Please remember that two big named games opened up this month. We are just seeing the usual draw-off of these games.

Resources prices going down is not a bad thing.
Despite being one of the richest crafter on my server ( and an established AS for 1 year) I have lost several auctions because the price went past the limit I had set for myself so I will admit that it is with a certain smile that I see these people that offered crazy prices for resources now unable to sell them back at the price they originally payed for them.
Lets face it too, most of the big AS overstock resources by a huge margin, so it shouldn't be a surprise than when a few crafters leave the profession and try to sell their resources they are not able to do it as the high price they were expecting..........
I did some wooly hide inventory 3 days ago and realized I had 600k ( now 750k as I have been buying some good dant wooly at 50 cpu) and there is one guy leaving the profession that has around 500k of good wooly on his vendor at 70 cpu right now so stuff like wooly hide will definitly drop in prices on Valcyn for a while..........

mined resources prices have lowered. there are too many lot trades and harvesters farms.
also depending on with the resources are, prices have gotten lower. the best ploysteel copper just spawned on interpid. a few people try to for 10+ cpu to me because they think it will be worth 30 cpu in a year. what miners need to understand is that most smiths mine their stuff.i have 15 havesters on that copper, that will mine enough for a life time or two worth of armor. there is no reason to pay much for mined resources because you can mine so much of it yourselve.

Well sometimes when you have+5 uber resources spawn close to each other things get tough and you have tocall inthe miners. (like what has happened on naritus this past week) First we had some995oq SPF spawn... then 994/945 oq/sr coro fiber 4 hours later... then 996/741 oq/sr plat copper... then 969/711 oq/sr colat iron... then 943/383 oq/sr yavin evergreen... and several varieties of 900+ oq/sr layer metals...
I fear I may not get enough of them all. *sigh*

Well I know I slowed down production of armor based on the CU coming soon. I want to make sure i have the stuff I need to make the best possible post CU armor I can. This factor and the other 2 games launching has lowered demand.
Also remeber alot of the folks who are here are in space and spending money on that part of the game right now.

A lot of factors:
Group mission payout nerf
WoW Release
EQ2 Release
The could have picked a better time for the group payout nerf. . .geesh.

Well I dont know about you guys, but I'm using my down time to experiment and try out different armor types... I'm also branching out... Got vendors on 3 planets now... one of which sees something on the order of75% of our server's traffic. You put up enough vendors you will make sales. (assuming you dont sell utter rubbish and/or price higher than the market will bare)
